I’ve waited so long to have you in my life.
I planned, researched and dreamed.
I got advice from friends, advice from strangers in coffeehouses, advice from bloggers on the Internet.
I finally knew it had to be you.
Welcome, my friend.

I wish you such a wonderful life together. Congradulations.

Posted by: Lesley at October 13, 2004 04:38 PMOh, Helen, you should hear it grind; it's got a comforting little "whirr" sound instead of that grating "raaaaagh raaaaaagh raaaaaagh"! :)
I used a $7 blade grinder for the longest time, but when I used a burr grinder at a friend's house I was really surprised by the difference. The blade grinder kind of weedwhacks the beans, which is ok for drip coffee makers but doesn't create a fine enough grind for really smooth espresso.
So when my blade grinder finally gave up the ghost, I decided to bite the bullet.
*sigh* I'm so very happy with it. :) Is it strange that I think about it at work?
